Volunteer Opportunities
U-Pick Seasonal Volunteering:
Our volunteers help us keep a fun and safe environment during our u-pick festival seasons by helping with set up/tear down, check-in, concessions, farm stand, safety around the fields, animals and playgrounds, and just good ole customer service.
Volunteer requirements for our U-Pick Season:
We require volunteers to sign up for a minimum of 3 shifts during the the festival u-pick seasons.
Each volunteer will need a signed waiver on file.
Student age requirement is 13years of age.
An adult family member/guardian is required to volunteer alongside their student who is 13years - 15years of age (1 adult per child).
Any student of any age that is on the Spectrum will require an adult family member/guardian to volunteer alongside of them.
Volunteers must bring their own water/drinks and snacks.

Do volunteer hours count towards Bright Futures for my high school student?
It is the responsibility of high school volunteers to confirm that their hours volunteered at our farm will be acceptable for Bright Futures.
https://www.floridastudentfinancialaidsg.org/pdf/bfhandbookchapter1.pdf
For public and nonpublic schools (page 4), hours volunteered at our farm do not count towards Bright Futures unless you plan to pursue a profession in agriculture, or the farm is approved by your district school board or administrators of a nonpublic school. For homeschooling students (page 8), volunteer hours at our farm do count towards Bright Futures and require hours simply be recorded on letterhead.
